No birthday presents for Anneka?

Anneka and her family adopted Coco from our rescue earlier this year.  Anneka and Coco have become wonderful friends and Anneka tells us that Coco sleeps with her every night.  They have become quite the team.  This year for Anneka's 7th birthday she decided that she wanted to help other animals like she helped Coco so instead of gifts for herself she asked all of her friends to bring dog and cat food, treats and toys for other animals who still needed help at the rescue and in the community.  One of the children  that attended her party even brought the contents of her piggy back to donate to the rescue.  We think this is an amazing act of compassion and selflessness for these young children and, on behalf of all the animals they have helped, would like to Anneka and her friends for their generousity.   The donations from Anneka's party will be used to help our Angel Community Outreach team provide food and assistance to owner's who without extra help would have to abandon their animals for lack of resources.

Ralph and Franklin

Ralph is one of star volunteers and Franklin is there to keep him company! Ralph inspires us all because dispite being blind, Ralph still volunteers to help the animals. Although Ralph can't come to the clinic, he helps by taking syringes out of the package. This saves us a lot of time and it is a lot of work because we use thousands of them. Ralph is always on the ball and even sends us surprise presents when the syringes come back. Thank you Ralph - you are amazing!
