Volunteers

We have a wide variety of volunteers who are well respected in their community. To name a few of the things they do full time when they aren't helping us - lawyers, veterinarians, business owners, stay at home mom's and consultants. All of them have one thing in common, their love of animals. here is some information about a few of them:

Nikki

Nikki is our star volunteer - she is always ready to help with a smile!

Marsha Ricevuto

Marsha has been doing rescue for 20 years and her heart is bigger than anyone we know. She has helped thousands of animals and helped start our spay/neuter program. Marsha has been diagnosed with cancer though and needs our help now. Let us know if you can help her out.

Jeanne Reeder

Here is Jeanne here with her kitty, Cooper. Jeanne has been doing rescue work for many years and is our dedicated Treasurer.

Renee Medley

renee

Renee has been greatly involved in all aspects of the rescue. She is our “It” girl - the one who you can call on when you have questions, need advice, or just need a shoulder to cry on. Renee is always the first person at our adoption events, setting up cages and answering the questions of passerby's. Renee accompanied MAAN (Michigan Animal Adoption Network) in September down to the ravaged Southern states affected by Hurricane Katrina. While there, she participated in search and rescue activities, administered supplies, and brought back homeless cats and dogs back to Michigan that desperately needed help. We are so very thankful for Renee and her family, and for all of the great things they do to better the lives of animals. Sometimes, out of the corner of our eyes, we think we catch a glimpse of Renee’s wings, because she truly is an “Angel”. We are all very grateful to have you on our team, and thank you for all of your hard work .

We have a lot of volunteers that are camera shy but we are working to get their pictures on here soon!
