Spay-tacular strolling dinner including vegan entrees, full bar and auction celebrating the best of Detroit – Dogs, Cats and Cars! Benefit for Detroit Dogs and Cats. Valet parking. Friday, February 28, 2014 from 6 pm to 9 pm at the Ford Piquette Avenue Plant
461 Piquette Avenue, Detroit, Michigan 48202.
You will step back in time to another era as guides lead you through the Plant’s history, evolution and the pristine cars on display.
See the birthplace of Tin Lizzie, the Model T – the invention that not only put Detroit on the map, but changed the world forever. View the striking Detroit skyline from the plant’s massive 355 windows. Take a ride on a hundred year old elevator that’s built better than most of its modern relatives. See the most advanced fire prevention technology at its time, still working today. This is a chance to walk through the plant; virtually unchanged from when it was first built in 1904.
Expect Italian, Mediterranean, Mexican and Asian foods to delight the pallet, enjoy the bar and bid on items like an Orlando condo stay or night out at Fishbone’s.
By the end of the night, you’ll view Detroit through the eyes of promise!
Did we mention that February is also Spay/Neuter Awareness Month? There’s no better time to come out and have a great time when you know every penny will support the mission of No More Homeless Pets! We hope you will join us!
