Veterinary Services

Our nonprofit offers high quality Spay/Neuter, Wellness and Telemedicine services for cats and dogs at low cost.

We have four convenient clinics to serve you –
Warren, Flint, Auburn Hills and Detroit.

Most wellness items are $15 or less. There are NO office call fees with preventative wellcare.  Click here for wellness clinic locations and wellness hours.

Wellness Services Available During Wellness Hours:

• Heartworm test and preventative
• Vaccines*
• FELV/FIV test
• Flea, tick, ear mite treatment and preventatives
• De-wormer
• Microchips
• Toe-nail trims
• Intestinal parasite checks
• Puppy & Kitten 101 package- distemper and dewormer $20
• Dog & Cat 102 package- rabies, distemper and dewormer $30
• Dog & Cat 103 package- rabies, distemper, dewormer, canines only heartworm test, felines only FIV/FELV test $45
• Dental exams

*There is a $10 surcharge for unspayed/unneutered pets for each vaccine. Surcharges can be credited towards your pet’s spay/neuter bill if surgery is done within a month at AAAR. Help will be available for those that cannot afford to spay/neuter their pet.

Please bring any previous vaccine records with you if you have them available. It is helpful in determining what vaccines are needed and also required for us to be able to issue 3 year rabies vaccines. Without vaccine records, all rabies will be issued as a 1 year rabies.

Wellness services are provided for healthy animals.

It is important for animal guardians to have a relationship with a private, full-service veterinarian for illness. Please see the bottom of this page for a list of vets in Warren and nearby.
