Surgery Check-In & Discharge Instructions

To maintain a safe environment for you and our staff, decrease wait times and maximize efficiency, please adhere to the following policies and procedures. Moving forward, these changes will be enforced. As things continue to change, please check back for procedure and service updates. Thank you!

Prior to your pet’s surgery day at the Warren or Flint location:

  • You (the Shelter, Rescue or Pet Owner) will be sent a welcome email through eVetPractice with a link enabling you to enter in your pet’s new patient information and access future medical records through the Pet Owner Information/Client Portal. Your email is your default username and password. Please activate the portal by clicking the link in the email, follow the instructions and update your password to one of your choice.

If you did not receive an email prior to the surgery day (and do not already have access to the client portal) contact us. You must enter all patient information in this portal prior to the surgery day. If you do not have access to a computer, please call us to ensure we have the requested information prior to the surgery day.

  • Enter in the surgery patient’s information in eVetPractice with as much detail as possible; including all your contact information and information pertaining to your pet. This will expedite your check in process.
